Terms & Conditions
Equine Horses Ranch · Brownsville, Texas
1. About these terms
These terms apply to everyone who visits this website, contacts Equine Horses Ranch, or buys a horse or service from us. By using the site or placing a deposit, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or proceed with a purchase.
2. Horse listings and descriptions
We describe every horse honestly and to the best of our knowledge, based on our time with the horse. Horses are living animals, and their behavior can change with a new environment, handler, rider, feed, or routine. Descriptions, photos, and videos are a guide, not a guarantee of future performance or temperament.
Prices and availability can change without notice. A horse is not reserved for you until we confirm your deposit in writing.
3. Deposits and payment
A deposit of 40% of the purchase price holds a horse for you while you arrange a visit, a pre-purchase exam, or transport. The deposit is applied to your purchase and is confirmed in writing before you pay.
The remaining 60% balance must be paid before the horse leaves the ranch. Ownership passes to you once full payment is received.
4. Visits and pre-purchase exams
We encourage buyers to visit, handle, and ride a horse before buying. You are also welcome to arrange a pre-purchase exam by a licensed veterinarian of your choice, at your cost. Please schedule it before paying the balance, because a completed sale is accepted as-is.
5. Transport and delivery
We can help you arrange transport with independent, insured haulers. Transport costs are paid by the buyer unless agreed otherwise in writing. Responsibility for the horse passes to the buyer or their chosen hauler when the horse is loaded.
6. Returns and exchanges
Every horse purchase includes a 30-day exchange period, starting on the date the horse reaches you. If the horse is not the right fit within that time, you may exchange it for another horse on our listings of equal or greater value, paying the difference.
To qualify for an exchange, the horse must come back in the same condition it left the ranch, and return transport is arranged and paid by the buyer. Your deposit and any payment made stay with your account toward the next horse. Any other return arrangement must be agreed in writing before the sale.
7. Riding and handling risk
Horseback riding and handling horses carry an inherent risk of injury. Under the Texas Equine Activity Limitation of Liability Act, an equine professional is not liable for injury or death of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. Visitors who ride or handle horses at the ranch do so at their own risk and may be asked to sign a release.
8. Website use
The text, photos, and design on this website belong to Equine Horses Ranch or are used with permission. Please do not reuse them without asking us first. We work to keep the site accurate, but we are not responsible for errors, interruptions, or links to outside websites.
9. Privacy
When you send an inquiry, book a visit, or join our newsletter, we use your details only to reply to you and help with your purchase. We do not sell your personal information.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted here is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
