Ranch Horses

Sheriff

Sheriff is a 9-year-old gray american quarter horse gelding standing 14.3 hands. Finished ranch and trail broke, with a kind, ranch-raised outlook. Such a kind soul, gentle demeanor, and super talented gelding describes our handsome gelding that will put an anchor on your heart. We proudly offer Sheriff as we affectionately call this very versatile gelding. He is happy and willing to do anything you what to accomplish horseback. He is exceptionally good minded and extremely talented in so many areas. Standing 14.3 hands and absolutely gorgeous. He goes in the show pen and knows his job. Pick your cow, put your hand down and go have some fun. He is very cow smart and gritty enough to read and hold a tough cow from the herd. Sheriff would make a jam-up cowhorse or Ranch Versatility show horse. He has gorgeous spins, long and deep sliding stops, and easy lead changes. He lopes balanced circles on a draped rein and my-oh-my, he is so smooth! His ears are always forward and he loves his job. He’s a willing partner that is just pure pleasure to ride. Sheriff has been all over the country in many types of terrain. He’s very sure footed and confident out in the rocks, mountains, thick brush, crossing desert arroyos and goes right through running river water. Sheriff is safe and approved for anyone and everyone. He’s a great confidence builder that rides gentle each and every time you saddle him regardless of time off. He is good around crazy dogs, blowing tarps, busy traffic, heavy machinery and loud gunfire. Sheriff is a cow-cutting machine, deluxe trail partner, all-around ranch horse and best friend kind of gelding. This gorgeous gelding has been so easy and enjoyable to have around. He’s a special individual that we are proud to offer.
